Friday night marked the end of the Crossfit Open 2015 for me and it ended with a painful WOD. For one, I loathe thrusters…man I really hate them. The WOD broke down like this:

27-21-15-9 reps for time of:
Row (calories)

M 95 lb. F 65 lb.

My final time: 12:31 – not bad. Guillermo did it in just over 10 minutes. I had about two minutes of just standing there sucking air.

Overall, the competition taught me a few things this year. Don’t neglect the daily WODs during the OPEN, you’ll need the cardio, don’t worry about the soreness. Eat more, eat often. Rest.
